Raegan Gibson (Promisses Board Member) is a Richmond native and graduate of the University of Virginia and Averett University.  She currently works as an Accountant, however, she has a true creative and entrepreneurial spirit.  Raegan is in the process of building a successful business which she calls Sweets and Soirees, a full service Event Management, Design and Consultation firm.  She also has an 8-year old son, Sydney, who keeps her very busy with his sports and other extracurricular activities.  Before her son was born, Raegan was very active in several community organizations but her son's birth slowed her pace quite a bit.  The opportunity to become a member of the Promisses Board of Directors came at a very opportune time because she was seeking to regain her fervor for community volunteerism.  Through Promisses, Raegan hopes to reach young girls and show them that no matter what their background may be, it is possible to do whatever you set your mind to.  Additionally, she hopes to impress upon the community that any contribution, even something as simple as a prom dress, can make a tremendous difference in a young girl's growth and development and serve to set them on the path to becoming a productive and prosperous woman.

Annette Larkin (Promisses Board Member) is originally from Norfolk, Virginia.  She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Averett University.  Annette currently is a Senior Auditor with the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Annette is no stranger to community service, thus she jumped at the chance to be apart of Promisses.  She says she is a part of Promisses because it affords her an opportunity to be a positive light in lives of young ladies.  Although the interaction with the girls are limited, it gives Annette the opportunity to encourage them to strive for excellence in whatever future endeavors they may aspire to i.e. whether they want to further their education, join the military, or join the workforce.  In addition, Annette says she is happy to be apart of an organization that will afford young ladies an opportunity to attend their prom and experience an evening of class and elegance.  Every young lady desires to feel like a princess on her prom night.

Neysa Taylor-Wyatt (Promisses Board Member) is a graduate of the University of Virginia (College of Arts and Sciences).  She is currently employed with Genworth Financial as benefit analyst for long term care.  She was excited to become a part of this wonderful organization because she always wants to help out the community and this was a great opportunity to help touch young ladies' lives.  She hopes through Promisses that we are able make differences in many lives.

Latasha Tucker (Promisses Founder and Board Member) is originally from Roanoke, Virginia.  After graduating from the University of Virginia with an Economics degree, she received her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond.  She is a Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank and co-owner of A Mother's Touch Childcare Center.  Latasha and her husband, have two children and are expecting the birth of their third child early next year.  She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth by helping them to discover their God-given talents and achieve their dreams.   Latasha says, "Believing in yourself is imperative. Your economic limitations are in no way a reflection of your worth or abilities."  Promisses is an avenue to help young ladies know that they are all beautiful and uniquely-made.

As a Richmond native, Davia Archer (Promisses Public Relations Specialist) has invested countless hours of community service through her talents and skills as a Public Relations professional.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Hampton University.  Following her graduation, she was fortunate to obtain employment in the state government sector as well as volunteer her time with several non-profit organizations within the Richmond area. She specializes in event management and community/media relations. Davia joined Promisses in January 2008 with this idea in mind: "I believe this is an important milestone in every young girl's life. If she cannot attend her prom because she can't afford to buy a dress, I believe it is our organizations' civic duty to step in and make her dreams possible, whether it be through donations, sponsorships, and/or community outreach events."
